Mother's Choice |
I've
already mentioned that my mother used to wear jeans when she was 20.
The fashion of those days was different and types of jeans were other
either, I should add. They didn't know anything about cuffed
Capri jeans at all. The production of jeans was slow, though they were
in demand. They were subjected chemicals vigorously, under the influence
of which the fabric became ragged. The majority of jeans was supposed
to shrink inevitably. In general, any jeans by all means cockle at
any washing – manual or machine. But after hot drying in a washing
machine they shrink significantly more. It should be noted that dye
bleeding is a parameter of high quality of a thing. Anyway, those jeans always regained their initial form as soon as my mother started wearing
them. |
